Within the framework of the Communication and Outreach Plan to introduce The Non-Revenue Water (NRW) project funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented by Jordan Water Company (Miyahuna), an open day was conducted on January 30, 2018 in Sahab customer service office targeting local residents. At least 150 citizens from the Sahab area showed up for the event.

The residents were briefed on the upcoming NRW project which includes the rehabilitation of the water supply network and replacement of residential water meters. Furthermore, a demonstration on the proper way to clean residential roof tanks and the importance of keeping the tank float in good working condition to avoid water loss was provided. 

In addition, visitors were introduced to residential water conservation behaviors and methods. Gifts were provided to citizens, including water-saving aerators, gifts for women, and children's coloring books and specialized leaflets.
